There was a time before the rise of modern disposable society that men took great pride in shaving. These men would use shaving brushes, straight razors, and shaving soap to achieve that baby soft smoothness both they and the ladies in their lives crave. However, modern society seems to focus on simply getting the task done. A great deal of the pleasure from this has been removed, and our landfills are growing daily due to this disposable lifestyle.
Traditional shaving products are comfortable, convenient, and do not need to be disposed of with every usage. A straight razor can be a simple device or a work of art depending on the desires of the one wielding this implement. The shave such an item grants is often closer and smoother than what many men realize is possible with so called modern technology as well. When it is time to shave again, ask yourself "Do I want an interesting and unique shaving experience or do I want my sink littered with disposable plastic?"
