Being Pregnant Is Not All That Bad

About six months after I got married I started waking up feeling morning sickness. I became concerned after several days of the same thing. I went to the doctor immediately and requested a pregnancy test.It turned out positive and they put me on a pre-natal vitamin to take daily. The doctor had me come back at 12 weeks for an ultasound which my husband enjoyed being present for. I continued getting morning sickness until my fifth month but learned to combat this by keeping saltine crackers on the bedstand and having one each morning when I would wake up.I really started putting on alot of weight in my fifth month also. I was forced into maternitywear from that point on! I had a huge appetite and ate five meals a day. I was able to work well into my eighth month.I started having lots of lower back pain around that time from all the extra weight I put on. I gave birth six weeks early and looking back the lower back pain may have been the symtoms of pre-term labor. My son was born healthy and the labor itself went fairly easy for me. It was definetely not as bad as I had been told it would be. I did not have any problems and he got a 9 on his APGAR.
